Passionate, quirky, and committed to creating beautiful sounds, Samantha has been playing the viola since the fourth grade (and loving every minute of it!).

She was sixteen years old when a performance of Beethoven’s Pastoral Symphony changed her life. She was inspired to make music a part of her life, and motivated to push herself toward her dream of becoming a professional musician and teacher.

Currently freelancing in the Chicago metropolitan area as of 2019, Samantha earned her Master’s in Viola Performance (2021) at DePaul University studying with Ann Marie Brink. She previously taught and performed in the Dallas-Fort Worth area for four years. Samantha is always seeking new opportunities to get involved in the community, meet people, and give back.
