DESCRIPTION:POSTPONED TO MAY 28\nA Music for Food musician has tested positive for COVID. For the health and safety of everyone involved\, the event is being postponed to Saturday\, May 28\, at 2:00pm. Anyone who has reserved tickets for the May 14 event but cannot attend the rescheduled event should contact the Midsummer’s Music office at 920-854-7088 or email associatedirector@midsummersmusic.com. We appreciate your understanding and hope you can participate in the May 28 event. \n  \nThis is a free musical event featuring Allyson Fleck\, viola\, and Mona Christenson\, flute. \nWe ask that you bring a food item or make a monetary donation to our partnering pantry\, the Door County Food Pantry Coalition. \nThe need to address hunger insecurity has never been as great and the statistics are shocking. 1 in 7 people nationwide are food insecure. That means every sixth person you see walking in the city might be the one who is not sure if they or their children will partake in an evening meal. Music for Food exists because of the goodwill and faith the artists show\, and because of the love\, you show to those in need. \nProgram\nSelection’s from Hoffmeister’s Duo for Flute and Viola and other classical favorites.
