The evening opens with elegant and melodic miniatures by Cécile Chaminade\, followed by Sergei Prokofiev’s bold and dynamic Quartet No. 2 in F Major\, a work rich with rhythmic energy and heartfelt expression. After intermission\, the quartet performs Antonín Dvořák’s radiant Quartet No. 14 in A-flat Major\, one of his final chamber masterpieces\, filled with soaring melodies and joyful spirit. \nJoin us for an inspiring afternoon or evening of live chamber music performed by Roy Meyer and Alex Norris (violins)\, Oryann Tsaig (viola)\, and Jesse Nummelin (cello). \nReserve Free Tickets \n\nGenerously supported by local arts champions\, these concerts are made possible by the Wisconsin Arts Board\, the National Endowment for the Arts\, and the United Way of Door County.
