B Double Sharp programs engage the mind and spirit through music and conversation. \nToday’s program features Ansel Norris on trumpet. Norris has gathered acclaim throughout the world as a soloist and orchestral musician of diverse taste and enthusiasm. His sound has been heard on NPR’s Performance Today\, From the Top\, and on Medici.tv\, as the first-ever American prizewinner in the International Tchaikovsky Competition’s Brass division. He was also twice named first prize in the National Trumpet Competition USA. \nRoy Meyer and Alex Norris\, Violins\nJesse Nummelin\, Cello \nThis is not a ticketed event. \n\n\nPrograms are funded in part by grants from Bader Philanthropies\, the Door County Community Foundation\, the National Endowment for the Arts\, and the Wisconsin Arts Board.
