
Christopher Bolduc is a violinist, chamber musician, orchestral musician and educator born in Boca Raton, Florida and began studying violin at the age of 11. Soon after he became concertmaster of his respective school orchestras and participated in regional academic orchestras like All-County and All-State Orchestras, securing the concertmaster position of both during his senior year. During previous summers, Mr. Bolduc attended Green Mountain Chamber Music Festival, Brancaleoni International Music Festival, the DaPonte String Quartet Institute and Bad Leonfelden Sommerakadamie receiving instruction from pedagogues Mimi Zwieg, I-Hao Lee, Bayla Keyes, and Mark Gothoni. His principal mentors are Steven Bossert, Carolyn Stuart, Elizabeth Chang and David Perry.
Mr. Bolduc graduated with a BA in violin performance from the University of South Florida in 2020, a masters in Violin Performance from the University of Massachusetts in 2022, and a masters in Chamber Music from the University of South Florida in 2024. He is currently pursuing a Doctoral of Musical Arts degree as a school of music fellow UW-Madison under the direction of David Perry and holds the position of concertmaster at the Middleton Community Orchestra.
Mr. Bolduc is an active teacher and clinician who has mentored students in various school settings, at the Tampa Metropolitan Youth Orchestra and the Suzuki Strings Institute. He is currently an instructor of violin at Wisconsin Youth Symphony Orchestra’s Music Maker’s Program. This summer Mr. Bolduc will be working as artist-faculty at the Winold Music Festival and as an instructor of violin at UW Summer Music Clinic.
