Support the Griffon String Quartet

Since 2019, your generosity supported the Griffon String Quartet’s mission in northeast Wisconsin.

Just consider …

    Einstein Series Griffon String Quartet members work with children via the highly interactive Einstein Series program. Students participate in private or group lessons or educational outreach programs. The quartet visits schools and classrooms to perform and discuss string quartet music, relating it to relevant topics in their studies and lives.

    • weekly educational visits to hundreds of students in Northeastern Wisconsin schools and beyond;
    • weekly private instruction sessions with the Fine Arts Institute in Green Bay and Door County students through the YMCA, Boys & Girls Club, and private families
    • Over 3,000 students have already participated in this program.

    B Double Sharp The Quartet’s B Double Sharp program presents concerts for the aging or disabled and their caregivers. Targeting people with Alzheimer’s and dementia, the quartet creates a welcoming atmosphere, where people can share their observations and feelings about the journey of aging or memory loss.

    • Over 1,000 seniors have benefited from this exposure.

    Community-Embedded programs Additional Community-Embedded programs are all-inclusive for families, demystifying chamber music, and creating an experiential bridge from short presentations to full concerts. The quartet performs pop-up programs in restaurants, coffee shops, businesses, art galleries, museums, and other spaces. These events provide surprising and fun exposure for the public, demonstrating that world-class artistry is at home in everyday settings.

    • Over 5,000 community members have benefited from this exposure.

    We welcome your generosity to bring classical music to every corner of our community. Open Music Up!
