James T. Berkenstock, Midsummer’s Music Festival Artistic Director, has announced the musicians that will comprise the ensemble for the 24th Season of the festival.
Jean Berkenstock, Flute; Margaret Butler, Oboe; Elizandro Garcia-Montoya, Clarinet; James Berkenstock, Bassoon; John Fairfield, Horn; William Koehler, Piano; Jeannie Yu, Piano; David Perry, Violin; Isabella Lippi, Violin; Stephanie Preucil, Violin; Sally Chisholm, Viola; Allyson Fleck, Viola; Walter Preucil, Cello; Zachary Preucil, Cello; Jason Heath, Double Bass.
This versatile ensemble of world-class musicians will perform six different programs for the Summer Concert Series and two separate programs for the Labor Day series. From Brahms to Zemlinsky, the pieces chosen for the classical chamber performances will delight audiences each and every time.
The 2014 Midsummer’s Music Festival runs from June 13 through July 15 and the Labor Day series is scheduled for August 26 through September 1. Performances take place at unique venues throughout Door County. Most concerts are $30 for adults and $10 for students; private residence concerts are $60, special events and dinner concerts are $95.
