Our 2013 Special Events include two concerts by the Pro Arte Quartet, a Gala Opening Night event, the East Institute for Fine Arts Benefit in Green Bay, a Historic Dinner Cruise and Concert on Washington Island, two lively Restaurant Concerts and Chamber Music in Four Residences.

THE PRO ARTE QUARTET

Two outstanding 2013 concert opportunities in Door County to enjoy our favorite visiting quartet. Pro Arte Quartet
features two members of Midsummer’s Music, the world-class violinist David Perry and violist Sally Chisholm.
Joining them in Pro Arte, is violinist Suzanne Beia and cellist Parry Karp.

PROGRAM A – “In an English Country Garden“

  • Friday, June 7, at Birch Creek, in Egg Harbor, beginning at 7:30 we celebrate a Gala Opening Night with champagne and chocolate, guest speakers, a concert and post-concert reception. Let us whisk you away to the magic of an English Garden for our opening night premiere, where your taste buds will be stimulated with chocolate and champagne. Special guests will join in as you toast the opening of the Door County arts season. Our world-class musicians promise to deliver a delightfully balanced and elegantly executed evening. End the evening on a relaxed note by meeting our musicians at the post premiere party where food and wine abound!
